Dr. Wei-Sen LI, Secretary General of the NCDR & Associate Professor of the Department of Hydraulic and Ocean Engineering of National Cheng Kung University.

About this FREE training workshop:

Since 2012, IRDR ICoE-Taipei has held the training program “Advanced Institute (AI)” on different topics for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) which intends to transfer the implementing knowledge for DRR. Such AI courses emphasize transdisciplinary research and support young to mid-career scientists/engineers/policymakers in the countries of Southeast Asia, but not exclusively. IRDR ICoE-Taipei also provide competiting follow-up seed grant for the trainees. $15,000 USD/project, and a maximun of 4 projects.
