IRDR is an international interdisciplinary research program supported by ISC (International Science Council) in partnership with the United Nations office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR). As one of the members in the IRDR family, it is quite important to participate in the annual discussion meeting related to IRDR future directions and strategies for better engaging with the IRDR main goals in the near future. During this SC Meeting, the progress in the implementation, contribution of IRDR toward Future Earth/ SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)/ SFDRR (Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction), and the way forwards till 2030 were discussed.
