Future Earth launched the 2020 synthesized scientific report on sustainability - 'Our Future on Earth 2020' in February. Future Earth, Taipei and Academia Sinica appreciate Future Earth and all the authors. Of course, we are more than happy to promote this report in Taiwan.

The President of Academia Sinica, Dr. James C. Liao gave his opening talk about Taiwan's perspectives on 'Our Future on Earth 2020' in the satellite launch event held on February 19, 2020, in Taipei, Taiwan. About 40 participants including scientists, experts, government officers, and funders had intensive and fruitful discussions. Future Earth, Taipei will integrate all the comments and issue a commentary report later. We do support Future Earth for this series of reports and we are willing to contribute to 'Our Future on Earth 2021' by sharing Taiwan's knowledge and experiences.
