The Belmont Forum Systems of Sustainable Consumption and Production (SSCP) workshop held by the Ministry of Science and Technology and BFPO ended successfully on April 7th! Here are some highlights from this session, with greater discussion of sharing the cooperation of scholars from different professional backgrounds.

  Mr. Yue-Gau Chen (Executive Secretary of Center for Sustainability Science) shared the concept about how Belmont Forum could help scholars evolving their Knowledge Networking, and the progress on CRA.

  As a keynoter, Mr. Dai-gee Shaw (Steering Committee Member, Future Earth Knowledge-Action Network on Systems of Sustainable Consumption and Production) gave the roadmap of SSCP current status, with the discussion of Future Earth’s Transdisciplinary theme.

  In the Q&A session part. Dr. Shih-Chun Lung (Future Earth, Taipei Exclusive Secretary), Dr. Tsai-Chi Kuo (SSCP CRA MOST GPC), and Dr. Wen-ling Tu (SSCP CRA MOST GPC) talked about “How to turn knowledge into action”, ranging from sustainable economy to the construction of global value chains.
